The University Library is pleased to announce that Melissa Engelman is the new Instruction Librarian/Assistant Professor.
Melissa will play a lead role in the assessment of library instruction, and she will also be teaching in the library instruction program and creating online tutorials, library guides, and providing instruction for distance education students. She will also work reference and will be involved in other aspects of the Library and campus community.
Melissa has graduate degrees from Murray State University (M.A. in English Literature) and the University of Kentucky (M.S. in Library Science) and she has taught college level courses in everything from English to Geology. She’s a newish resident of the frozen North, along with her husband and three furry quadrupeds. Melissa enjoys collecting degrees and is currently looking for an online math or communication program just for kicks. She lives, breathes, and eats library instruction and has plans to take over the world via information literacy.
Melissa can be reached at her office, Room 305B, ext. 4748, or firstname.lastname@example.org.
