University Library Set to Reopen on August 10

University College and the UWSP Libraries are actively working to restore building access in a safe and responsible manner. Planning is being guided by the UWSP Pivot Point: Guide to Returning to Campus and other sources. During this time we will continue to emphasize the use of our online services and resources.

Albertson Hall & University Library

We are working with Facilities Services to prepare Albertson Hall to safely reopen on August 10, 2020. Precautionary measures that follow campus standards will be in place:
  • Face coverings are required of all employees and visitors
  • Group study rooms and meeting rooms are unavailable
  • Social distancing and good hygiene practices are expected
  • Marked entrances and stairwells encourage one-way traffic flow and minimize interactions
  • Physical furnishings reduced to encourage social distancing
  • Sanitizing stations distributed across the building to allow users to clean spaces before and after use
  • The building remains closed to the general public except for the Archives and Area Research Center (archives@uwsp.edu) and Government Document Access (librefd@uwsp.edu) by appointment only.

Anticipated Summer Hours (Aug. 10 – 28, 2020)

UWSP at Stevens Point Library

  • Mon-Fri: 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
  • Sat-Sun: Closed

Branch Campus Libraries

  • UWSP at Marshfield Library
    • Closed
  • UWSP at Wausau Library
    • Mon-Wed: 8:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
    • Thu-Sun: Closed

Plan on taking the MCAT or GRE?

The University Library has the latest editions of the MCAT Subject Review and GRE Revised General Test study guides. These guides can be found in the Reserve department on the 1st floor of the Library. The new MCAT guide includes general and organic chemistry, physics, and verbal reasoning and writing. The new GRE guide includes analytical writing, verbal reasoning, quantitative reasoning, and a math review.
