Celebrate National Library Week!

National Library Week (April 3- 9, 2022) is a time to celebrate our nation's libraries, library workers' contributions and promote library use and support.  

The theme for National Library Week 2022 is "Connect With Your Library." 

During the pandemic, library workers continue to exceed their communities' demands and adapt resources and services to meet their users' needs during these challenging times. Whether people visit in person or virtually, libraries offer endless opportunities to transform lives through education and lifelong learning. 

You can celebrate with the UWSP Libraries by uploading a selfie for a Read poster. Read posters will be included in a virtual gallery and shared on social media. Printed copies will be displayed in UWSP Libraries. To participate, visit https://libraryguides.uwsp.edu/read2022

First sponsored in 1958, National Library Week is sponsored by the American Library Association (ALA) and observed in libraries across the country each April. All types of libraries - school, public, academic and special - participate.

Plan on taking the MCAT or GRE?

The University Library has the latest editions of the MCAT Subject Review and GRE Revised General Test study guides. These guides can be found in the Reserve department on the 1st floor of the Library. The new MCAT guide includes general and organic chemistry, physics, and verbal reasoning and writing. The new GRE guide includes analytical writing, verbal reasoning, quantitative reasoning, and a math review.
