As we embark on the month of February, we celebrate Black History Month focusing on the theme, “African Americans in the Arts.” The UWSP Main Campus Library presents a display (CCC 130) featuring a variety of artists and performers from children’s books to fiction and memoirs.
In addition to our display, we invite you to dive into our
extensive e-resources that offer a dynamic and interactive exploration of
African Americans in the arts. You can find selected resources on our research guide, and a
highlight this month is Bullfrog Films featuring films for Black History Month (available
through our Docuseek Film Collection)
Whether you engage with our display or explore our e-resources (or both), let this month be a reminder of the profound impact African Americans have had and continue to have on the arts.
