Prof. Terri Muraski Retires

The stacks will be a bit emptier in the Library as we say good-bye to Prof. Terri Muraski who will be retiring this September.

Terri began her career here in 2003 as the Access Services librarian and she eventually moved into the role of Information Systems Librarian. Prior to coming here, she was a librarian at UW Stout, and she also worked as a librarian in the K-12 system in Wausau.

Terri has dedicated 18 years of service to UWSP and has been instrumental in the operations of the Libraries that faculty, staff, and students use daily anytime they are searching for books, articles, videos, and other materials. She has also been a key contributor to the work she has done for the UW System and the Council of University of Wisconsin Libraries. As one colleague said, “Terri is a problem solver. This is not a skill everyone has, especially when it comes to the complexity of Systems.”

We appreciate the unique gifts and talent she has so generously shared with the Libraries, the campus, and the profession.

We wish her the best in her retirement.
