Earth Day!

April 22 is Earth Day and brings environmental issues to the world's stage. With roots in Wisconsin honoring Gaylord Nelson's legacy as a champion for environmentalism, people and organizations around the globe participate through awareness campaigns, planting trees, clean up efforts, protesting against hazards to the environment, and reducing our carbon footprint.

The UWSP Libraries is fortunate to have a vast collection of books about Earth Day and related subjects, including a recently published children's book by Joyce Sidman, celebrating the Earth and poetry, "Hello Earth! Poems to our Planet"
