Banned Books Panel Event - April 25th

The University Libraries, in collaboration with the School of Humanities and Global Studies, the Portage County Public Library, and the Marathon County Public Library, will host a panel discussion on resisting censorship and the rise of banned books. Throughout this year, UWSP has hosted a banned books reading challenge contest, created an educational display, and we wrap up our activities with this panel event of experts in the field.

Please join us on April 25th to learn more about the impact of book challenges on students’ education, teachers, librarians, and communities.

The event is free and will be held at the Portage County Public Library in the Pineries Room (1st floor) from 6:15-7:45 p.m. Light refreshments will be served.

We look forward to seeing you!
