Women's History Month

March marks the celebration of Women’s History Month and an opportunity to highlight the contributions of women throughout history and contemporary society. This year’s theme is “Women Providing Healing, Promoting Hope,” celebrating the tireless work of caregivers and frontline workers during the pandemic, and the ways that women have provided healing and hope throughout history.   Please join the UWSP Libraries as we celebrate and highlight Women’s History Month through highlighted resources and collections. We also have a display in the Albertson Hall lobby.   The monthlong celebration of women’s history began as a weeklong recognition of women’s contributions to culture, history and society in 1978.
