Resource Sharing Restart

Borrowing of Physical Materials from Other Libraries Resumes July 20th! UW Resource Sharing (formerly known as Universal Borrowing or “UB”) and interlibrary loan of physical materials outside of the UW System will resume on Monday, July 20 th .  Here’s what you need to know: You can resume placing UW Resource Sharing Requests via Search@UW on Monday, July 20 th You can resume placing requests for items not found within UW System via Interlibrary Loan on Monday, July 20 th Expect delivery to take longer! Please be patient as we expect delays due to staffing shortages and mandatory quarantining of materials. It is estimated that a typical request will take at least 9 business days to arrive.  We will not be able to fill all requests. University Library Set to Reopen on August 10

University College and the UWSP Libraries are actively working to restore building access in a safe and responsible manner. Planning is being guided by the UWSP Pivot Point: Guide to Returning to Campus and other sources. During this time we will continue to emphasize the use of our online services and resources . Albertson Hall & University Library We are working with Facilities Services to prepare Albertson Hall to safely reopen on August 10, 2020 . Precautionary measures that follow campus standards will be in place: Face coverings are required of all employees and visitors Group study rooms and meeting rooms are unavailable Social distancing and good hygiene practices are expected Marked entrances and stairwells encourage one-way traffic flow and minimize interactions Physical furnishings reduced to encourage social distancing Sanitizing stations distributed across the building to allow users to clean spaces before and after use The building remains closed to t
