This year’s theme, “Ready, Set, Library,” resonates with the UWSP Libraries’ mission as a dynamic hub of learning and scholarship that supports opportunities for intellectual exploration and personal growth.   Sponsored by the American Library Association, National Library Week was first celebrated in 1958 and is now observed each April by libraries of all types across the country.       In addition to exploring our collections and enjoying the vast array of services the Libraries provides, you can h elp us celebrate  National Library Week  by feeding  Very Hungry College Students .    Bring your items to donate to the Library Circulation area in  Collins Classroom Center 130  during our regular  hours   April 7-13, 2024 .   April is “everything” month as we fondly call it in the Library. It's a month packed with various celebrations and events,  including National Poetry Month, National Jazz Month, National Library Week, Earth Day, and many more awareness and appreciation days. Here’s what we have in store for you: National Library Week (April 7-13): Help us fill the shelves of our campus food pantry by participating in our collaboration with The Cupboard. Drop off non-perishable food items at our Circulation Area (CCC 130) during this week. John Anderson Community Spirit Award Calling all UWSP undergraduates!
